psychology major,biology minor (pre-dental)

I plan on attending dental school after college + I'm actually very interested in psychology.
I've heard that biology major is:
*JUST MEMORIZING,and I'm that kind of person who can not memorize the material without understanding it.
* It is impossible to get a decent GPA (3.6+)
However, I do like bio but I'm just afraid of not getting a good GPA, so I decided to major in psych in order to get a better GPA and it is also something that interests me, and minor in bio to complete the pre reqs.
what do you guys think?

I’m not sure where you’re getting your information, but both points seem flawed to me.

First, what makes you think you will need to memorize WITHOUT understanding the material? There’s nothing that prevents you from UNDERSTANDING bio any more than any field, including psych.

Second, it isn’t impossible to get a good gpa majoring in bio. Will you have to work hard? Yes. Harder than for psych? Maybe, but maybe not if you’re really not interested in psych.

p.s. if dental is like med school, they don’t care about minors.
