Hello everyone!

I'm an international student, and I really want to major in psychology for Undergraduate since I heard that "pre-med" is not exactly a major. Plus I've heard that it's almost impossible to major in medical because I'm not American, but once I start looking at schools and majors they offer "pre-med" seems to be on many of their lists. Can someone clear this up for me?

After thinking, I've decided to major in psychology. However, if I major in psychology and still take classes required for the MCAT am I able to get in the medical field? am I at an disadvantage compared to others who majored in chemistry or biology?

Thank you.
