how difficult are classes in the psychology majors. particulary at the UCs, davis for example. like how hard is it to maintain a 3.5-.6 ish gpa with that major, somethin thattl be good enough for med school.

Psychology is (relatively) a very easy major. There are a lot of new concepts to learn, but a ton of it is just common sense translated into scientific jargon. The hardest classes are the research methods ones, but even then it's totally doable.

How does economics fare in relation to psy?

They both are really easy if you really want have good time in college, major in engineering or math or phyicsis or computer science.

I don't know if I would call a B.S. in Economics easy. In my opinion, it is not easier than Psychology.

Psychology, Sociology, and Communications are usually considered the "easy" majors.

Of course, calling psychology an easy major is really denying a big part of it - you can't get a good job with it unless you go to grad school.
