<p>Hi, i am currently a student at a community college in California. i think will major in psychology and minor in history or sociology. </p>
<p>So just wondering which university has a good reputation for psychology major?</p>
<p>Stanford, Yale, UCB, Penn, U Michigan, Cornell, Columbia, Carnegie Mellon..
They're on NRC.</p>
<p>Many schools have good psych programs, but some have catches. At Berkeley, you have to jump through some hoops to do the major, and this may only work if you follow a stict plan beginning your first term at community college. Other schools may have similar issues, but I do not know.</p>
