Psychology or Nutrition. UCI or what?

I'm going to be a 3rd year at UC Irvine. I was originally a bio major and got behind in courses. Then I decided to switch to Public Health Science this summer and took the class. Midway through the course I dropped it because I could not stand the class anymore and I could not stand UC Irvine anymore.

I am now considering a psychology behavior major at UC Irvine. That means I would have to go back to UC Irvine for summer session II to take a course and I will then be allowed to switch majors. A $1000 dollar class. Not to mention that I'll be behind in the major. I've taken 3 introductory courses to psych at UC Irvine and did very well in them. I went to the library almost every day to read the assigned reading and I enjoyed the courses very much. I could not help but think that there is no future in psych and that is why I never even considered it in the first place.

On the other hand, I am also interested in the nutrition major which is not offered at UC Irvine. I was thinking maybe about the davis nutrition program. Again, I do not know if I could get in and when I get in, it'll be pretty late for me and I will be behind too.

I also want to just go to a state college or something because I just believe that UC Irvine sucks.

I think both majors apply to me personally and that is why I have interests in them.

And I am considering nursing school after getting a degree or something like that.

I just don't know what to do. For the last 2 years I've been taken bio classes and trying to catch up in that major only to end up falling behind and using up so much money. I complain about UC Irvine all the time 24/7, yet I didn't have the grades nor the action to do anything about it. And now, I just don't know what to do.

I want to note that I regret going to a UC and UC Irvine because UCs are research based and I do not think I am into research. I really wished I went to state college where I could have majored in nursing, nutrition, or psych. And learn and apply it so I don't feel lost.

I know its unorganized but any advice is welcome. I'll provide clarification if needed. Try not to talk too much crap about me cuz I'm already pretty low on self-esteem. It's ok if you got no advice though.
Any

Give Cal State LA a try!

I also had issues at UCI and am thinking of not returning, maybe my thread may help too, if people respond:
