Psychology versus Psychobiology major.

I'm wondering if anyone with experience at UCLA can tell me what are the main differences in the curriculum of the Psychology and Psychobiology majors? One important concern is what type of undergrad research opportunities are offered in each program.

I am very interested in the neuroscience behind behavior, but wouldn't want my research to be primarily working inside a laboratory rats/mice. Would much rather study human behavior and brain-behavior relationships directly without harming any animals. All of the current psychology research seems to take physiological factors into account, so what are the advantages of going for psychobiology over simply a psych degree?

I’ve been looking for an answer to this as well!!
