<p>I'm going to become a psychologist and I'm wondering if I should go into a BA/MD program just to gain some further insight. Is this worthwhile, or should I just get a regular 4 year BA and then a PhD?</p>
<p>The only reason to try for a BA/MD program is if you want to be an MD. If you want to be a psychologist, then go for the PhD.</p>
<p>If you want to be a psychologist, be a psychologist. It makes absolutely no sense to go to medical school unless you want to be a psychiatrist.</p>
