I have obtained a BA degree in Communication a while ago. Now I'm back in school and taking Psychology courses in preparation for graduate school for PsyD. I originally planned to go to a graduate school in the US, but now I'm thinking in England.

Does anyone know how they accept foreign student for their grad school? I know there is no entrance exam, but I was wondering if they will accept me since I do not have an actual degree in Psychology.
How does visa work?

What do you want to be doing long term? You should get your degree where it would be easiest to get a job afterwards. States in the US might not look favorably on a PsyD accreditation in England - so make sure your program is legitimate. Since you mentioned a PsyD I’m assuming you want to be doing counseling/clinical psychology? PsyDs are long and expensive and depending on the state you could be better off with a masters degree in counseling/social work depending on your state’s legislation/requirements.

Thank you.
I want to become a Psychologist and live in the UK. This is why I’m wanting to get the degree in UK. Since the system seems to be quite different, I’m trying to figure out what I need in order to transfer, then prepare for the post-graduate.

If you have some information, I’d appreciate if you could share.
