Ptentially risky common app essay... advice? readers?

I wrote three possible common app essays but my favorite is sort of unique. I hate the way my writing sounds in first person so I wrote the essay as if it were a story about someone else. At the end, of course, I explained and brought it all together. The point of the essay is about my personality and how I deal with new or uncomfortable social situations (like the first day of school) and end up becoming outgoing, etc. It incorporates my best ECs, years of volunteering at a Children's Hospital and a nursing home.

So... Does this sound like a creative idea or a potential disaster?

It sounds like you took a common topic and spun it in a refreshing way - good job!

I’ll read it and help you out. PM it to me.

Pm me. happy to help!

It’s difficult to judge, but if its what i’m imagining, which is really creative and quirky etc. It should be a good essay  Make sure to get as many reads as you can, preferably from professionals if you think it’s risky.

Also, read the stickied threads in this forum before sending your essay to anyone :)

GL! I’m applying this season too :)
