P'ton App. vs. Common App.

Does it matter which one I do--either the common app. with supplement or the Princeton App.? I'd rather do the Princeton one, but I've already given my teachers the papers for the common app. to fill out 2 months ago. Can I even still do the P'ton app. then?

any1?......

If your teachers have already filled out the Common app, then you should probably use the common app with supplements. It really doesn't matter which one you do.

You should do common app now that the teachers have the common app. Although I have no evidence, I feel that the common app will hurt you; the Princeton app and the common app are almost identical, and if you are too lazy to fill out the Princeton app, then you must not be super uber hyper interested in the school.

They're not supposed to use that in admissions...technically : )

they say it doesnt matter

Heres how I feel. Although they say they dont favor either application, the Princeton app seems to offer much more room for personal expression. So even though they dont favor one over the other, the Princeton app allows the officers to get a better view of you and in turn offers a higher acceptance rate.

Yeah, I used the pton app cuz it let me list as many ECs as I wanted and describe them in as much detail as I wanted without having to use the cumbersome "Extra Details" section.

Seriously, though, for the sake of your teachers who are writing your recs, you should consider the common app

ya, the princeton app is awesome! better than any of the other schools', even the other ivies'. it just goes to show that P'ton cares more about the "human" component in applicants
