Public bathroom in college dorms?

Yes, shower shoes are a MUST. Cheap flipflops work wonders.

Never EVER use a public shower without them.

Oberlin has co-ed bathrooms. It's no big deal.

Tsenguun, i heard they are renovating each dorm at Vandy and are going to start with the bathrooms

for the showers, they are going to remove all the walls, doors, and curtains.
they will then install a gigantic shower head (3 feet in diameter) and let it hang from the ceiling. then, all the students will take showers in large groups, helping to lather each other up and sharing each other's shampoo, conditioner, body wash, what have you. It's supposed to further student bonding and strengthen relationships.

Now, naturally in any situation with a group as large as this, there will be security issues. That is why Vanderbilt is also installing cameras in all corners of each communal shower station. They will be recording 24/7, so that you can feel safe while showering with your buddies.

Never again will any Vandy student feel lonely or bored in the shower, ever.
