Public Health major for transfers at UCB

Do I understand this correctly: if you want to major in Public Health you need to get on the wait list as a freshman or sophomore; so a junior transfer cannot, de facto, enroll in the major?

Did you apply this year? And to answer your question, no, spots(15-20) are reserved for junior transfers.

No, I attended UCB prior to 2004 (so unit cap does not apply) and completed my junior year in good standing; I then withdrew from school. I plan to complete all the Public Health major prereqs over the next two years at a CC and then reenroll. Does anyone know if I can get on the Public Health major wait list now, given my circumstances?

I think it might be too late but take that with a grain of salt. I don’t think anyone on this board can give you a definite answer. Contact Tony Soyka sphug@berkeley.edu or call the transfer reentry center for more info (contacts are listed on the bottom) [UC Berkeley TRSP](http://trsp.berkeley.edu/)

Thanks for your reply, edbarga. I have already e-mailed Tony Soyka and am impatiently awaiting a response.

@IslandWarrior- Did you hear anything about your CC transfer plan of Public Health yet?
Are you in the PH major right now?

how it go with your transfer?

This, again Glara, is a dead post.
