Public health minor questions!

I posted this on the UCLA livejournal community, but I found no help. Anyway..

Just how competitive is it to enter the public health minor? What do they look for in an applicant into the minor?

Is anyone here in the minor? What do you think of it?

By the way, I am a new transfer student for the fall 2007 quarter. I've already enrolled in Public Health 150. However, I was on the public health minor's website and this was what it said:
"Public Health 150: Contemporary Health Issues (taken during the first term of enrollment in the Minor)"

I am not officially in the minor though, but they still let me enroll in it. Do they NOT want me to take it? Alright, am I being way too paranoid?

bump

I am in the exact same situation as Yams. Anyone have any thoughts?

if you're able to enroll into the class, then you can go ahead and take it, because there isn't any enforced requisites (like being in the minor). I have no idea about what the minor is about, but it would probably help if you want to pursue a MPH after undergrad?
