Public health or ib?

With the classes I'm taking now, my potential majors are public health or integrative biology. I know I'm pre-health (not sure what exactly) so I thought that it would make sense to be a bio major. However, after taking bio 1b (and contemplating over my previous experience in ap bio), I really don't like biology as much as I thought I did. I've heard that public health is more about treating community health though so I could potentially like that more. I can possibly do social welfare but that's capped too. Any advice?

Also, after declaring the major, how does one go about choosing specific concentrations?

im in same position… public health, ib or molecular tox… or triple major. not sure yet.

Thanks for the reply, Leftist. I’m not really sure if it’s just IB I dislike or biology in general. I’ll be taking Bio 1a in spring so I guessing that will help me decide. Would it be good to drop in on an ib to see what it would be like? Also, are there fewer ib majors than pb hlth majors? I would imagine that since ib is less impacted, those classes will be easier to get into. I’ll have to take that second point into consideration. I don’t know if I want to take summer school or not.
