which is better? a public IB magnet school or a private school (here is a link to the private school please please PLEASE check it out www.nbps.org) thanks!!

I don't see a lot of good courses in science at private school. I'd apply for IB school definitely.

IB is a great experience, go with that I'd say

you pay 16,000 to go to (High) school???????????????????

People pay $40,000+ to go to private high schools. (Andover, Deerfield, SPS, Harrow, Eton, Exeter, Cate, etc.)

At my old school tuition was $15,000 plus the cost of books, etc. But i switched schools and the tuition here is around $10,000 plus uniforms. I personally would have preferred to go to an IB school because my current school sucks. There is really no effort put towards academics which ****es me off. At least at an IB you get the academics without the financial cost.

why do people do that?

I think that is not fair...in terms of admissions.

A person who pays 40,000 to be smart or a person who pays nothing and IS smart.

There's financial aid and some schools offer merit scholarships.

I know this is kind of off-topic but a lot of people will do anything to say that their child went to such and such school. My cousin's PRESCHOOL in NYC costs $35,000 its a waste of money IMO

i thought you were from michigan jk? nbps is in florida.
