<p>Alright, so i go to this fairly well known public school in Illinois (however, most people do not chose to go out of state). Recently, ive begun worrying about the "status" of my school, i know course wise my school is pretty good, but competition within the school isnt so fierce. Is this going to affect my chances (in a negative way, i mean) for getting into a top school? </p>
<p>If it does, what are ways i could improve my chances to make myself stand out in the application pool as a whole?.</p>
