Hello All,

I have absolutely no idea what to do, as I'm the first of friends/family to look into grad school, and figured that these boards would know the answer.

I'm debating between retaking my GRE or letting my score stand. I'd like to get into a strong, top 10-15 Public Policy Program with a focus on International Development (Goldman, SAIS, SIPA, etc.) or a strong top 10-15 MBA school with a strong focus towards Social Entrepreneurship. I haven't taken the GMAT yet, but plan to in late summer.

So far, my application looks like this:

College GPA: 3.2 (weak, I know) at a top 15 liberal arts college with a dual major in Economics and International Relations
GRE: 800 quant/610 verbal/5.0 writing
Work Experience: I have two years under my belt in finance at a hedge fund (as a research analyst), and will have about 1.25 years as a Program Associate at a international development non-profit working with a program helping impoverished farmers in Central America.
Recomendations: I can get strong recomendations from my supervisors at both of my jobs (Managing Director and Executive Director, respectively) as well as a Dean (he was my thesis reader) in college.

How does this application stack up? Should I retake the GRE? I'm confident that I can maintain math, and think I can do better in verbal but it is certainly difficult to tell before going in front of the computer!!

Hopefully I get an answer or two - thanks to everyone for their help and time!
