public policy or international relations?

I am going to be a sophmore next year at stanford, and I was wondering which major would be more lucrative and offer better job opportunities right after graduation since I don't really plan on going to grad school. Public policy does have more major requirements than international relations so since its the harder major is there more you can do with it? Basically I know I'm going to major in a social science or something that isn't techy/mathy so what are any other good majors like those that won't leave me unemployed or broke after college? Basically I want to major in a social science I can use, not anything like english or comparitive lit...Are international relations/public policy the best way to go if my strength is writing? And which one is the better major choice?

Either major will land you entry level jobs (I assume in government) so major in whichever you enjoy more.

Well I definately would say international relations if you plan to attend graduate school, since there are great public policy grad school programs, which is probably where most top jobs in publicy policy education would be. Both are great majors, any thought of double majoring with one?
