- 99% of people live on campus
- NJ Transit (train to NY with connection to Philly etc) comes to campus via dedicated “Dinky” shuttle
- I knew 2 undergrads who had cars during my entire time at Princeton. One was from New Jersey. The other one was a president at an eating club (=run errands?). Freshmen are not allowed to have cars and parking is expensive and extremely limited for those who have them.
- No one drives. No one needs to drive. Everything you want/need is within walking distance or can be delivered to campus. While not a strictly pedestrian campus, given that everyone lives on campus, driving is unheard of.
- There are shuttles used primarily by graduate students who live in far-flung regions of campus.
