Do any actually exist? All I've been hearing is about crappy OOS aid from places like Indiana, Penn State, Wisconsin, and Georgia. What large publics give good OOS financial aid? Btw, not for only "numbers" geniuses...I'm not gonna have a 1400 SAT despite my awesome ECs and perfect GPA. grr

Thanks!

DD got a fabulous scholarship from University of South Carolina. She gets in state tuition, plus an additional $2000 per year. It is a merit scholarship renewable with a 3.0 GPA and no further applications. U of South Carolina has several merit scholarships for OOS students. My DD did not have a 1400 combined CR/Math SAT score. If you go to their website under financial aid, then scholarships, you can see the criteria.
