Are there any official stats as to whether kids have a better chance of being accepted at UVA from a private or a public school?
Most of our students are from public schools, but there is no admission preference for public schools…that’s just where most high school students are. We review a student in light of what is offered at their high school. We don’t compare them to students at other schools.
