Publishing Major vs. English Major

<p>As an aspiring manuscript editor, I've been struggling on deciding between a Publishing major or an English major. I'm pretty sure I'm going to do a double major in French for more job opportunities, but I've heard mixed things about which would be better. For reference, I'm looking at the editing track Belmont University has for their Publishing majors. If anybody knows of any other schools that have great English/Publishing programs, please let me know! I've mainly heard a Publishing degree could give me a leg-up when job-hunting because it's different than the classic English degree.</p>
