"pulling all-nighter"

meh, we have finals in all our ap classes. well, I don't think I took one in human geography. but in all the other ones, yeah. and our school has a bunch of other rules on seniors exempting final exams.

Yeah goin to bed earlier and then wakin up early is a good strat. for anyone who hasnt tried it. Its good because u feel regenerated and the lack of sleep / the wall only catches up with you during the school day (when, who cares if u go to sleep?)

i've pulled a few all-nighters through my high school career and i must say, it's a fun (in a sick, twisted sort of way) thing to do with friends who are suffering through the same school assignments as you.

i've done almost two.
one was my last day in a foreign country - our plane left really early the next morning
and two was just a fun night out when i had to work at 730 in the morning - i said almost b/c i got about 45mins that night.

I have a nightly REM quota that must be filled... or else

i have pulled all nighters before, and havent accomplished much. i do better work when fully aware of my surroundings.

I think I've pulled at least 10 all nighters this year. One before every English test, and usually before a large project is due. (With each English test we also have to do 3 essays and i always seem to procrastinate). Though I'm getting even lazier about it now, the last time I slept 3 hours or so and didn't finish...Anyways, you guys definitely don't want to be pulling all nighters even to study as it just makes things worse because you can't concentrate

My "record" streak has been 3 all-nighters in a row (though I did get about 4 hrs of sleep combined during the daytime...accidentally).

guess what? im gonna sleep tonight.

I've never pulled an all-nighter... however, I have gotten ~2ish hours of sleep, gone to school and sat three exams and several lectures before... shudder

My system at the moment is... go home, take a 3-4 hour nap (5-8ish) because at that time I'm completely exhausted from school and can't concentrate on ANYTHING... start my homework at 8-9PM, work till like 2AM and sleep till ~7AM... I find it easier then to doing all-nighters, lol and I'm still getting a somewhat decent amount of sleep. (and plus the fact that getting NO sleep scares me! I NEED my sleep...) However weekends I just zonk out at 10PM and sleep till like 10AM :)

precocious, i run after school, so yeah...

no sleep + running = hell

No sleep and then having to do any sport would be hell. A marathon (or a 5K) would be the worst; exert yourself for ten minutes straight after having no reserves. Smells like Bataan.

I"ve done about one once a month this year. Never before senior year though. I can't imagine though pulling an all-nighter then going to lacrosse practice (I don't play anymore). I think I would just collapse

On what level did you play lacrosse? You probably have played us at some point if you were on the team in 2002 and 2003. Have you heard of someone named Michaela McDermott? That would probably provide the answer.

the least amount of sleep i've ever gotten due to school is probably 4 or 4 1/2 hours. i don't think i have the strength to pull an all-nighter.

maybe in college.

I played lacrosse freshman/sophomore years, at the JV level. :)

Alright, then you probably never saw us, since we only played you on Varsity.

I was a bench warmer anyways. :)

Dang. I thought you may have been better. At least you are queen of multiple blog-rings; your name even pops on Google as such.

Last night I tried to stay up till 4 so I could watch elimidate. I made it to 2 AM, but the stuff on was so boring i just went up to sleep. If the programming before elimidate was any good, I could totally do it.

Back in 7th grade, I stayed up all night for my bday parties. A lot of secrets come out of the closet when you're locked in tiny room with 10 girls for 10 hours. Let's just say I could never look at some people the same way again.

Fun with friends and TV are the only reasons to stay up. School work, hell no. 10 PM is my max. The rest can be done in photography and lunch.
