Pulling in a roommate when you pick first

My son may have a possible suitemate lined up and he’s asking how it works, since my son will be able to pick on Tuesday, and this young man doesn’t pick until Thursday.

I want to make sure we have it right so my son can email him back and tell him how it works, what he needs from him, anything else they need to know.

Also, will his suitemate, who has a later pick date, have to do anything on his pick date, or is he finished once my son puts him in a suite with him?

By the way, he found him using Roommate Finder, but the young man responded to the email that he sent, so if you’re still looking for matches, as we are, too, I would suggest using the message feature on roommate finder, but also sending a message to the provided email address.

Wish I could call Bama about this, but they’re closed, and I’ll be on the road all day on Monday.

Thanks for any help you can give.

I don’t know, but you could write up an email and send to a few of the people in housing.

If you can accept phone calls to your cell while traveling, include that, too.

The person being pulled in doesn’t have to do anything, though I would suggest them checking their crimson e-mail for the e-mail that should be sent once they are pulled into a room. What your son has to do is first select his space, then go back and choose another space for the roomie. Your son will have to enter the roomie’s proxy code and possibly roomie’s last name when prompted. I’m glad the roommate matching tool worked for your son.
