Punk scene at Harvard

<p>I am very excited to start Harvard next fall, but while I've found a sizable community for most of my interests, I haven't heard of any punks on campus. Mind you, I do not appear punk (I definitely don't dress in that style, and I do listen to other music besides punk), so there could be others like me.</p>

<p>Do you find that anyone is interested in punk music (especially from a political point of view) at Harvard? Would anyone be up for exploring local shows?</p>

<p>I think you’ll find a lot of people who are up for a new experience, and some of those will end up loving it and keep going with you.</p>

<p>Just curious - When you say punk, is this generally the same punk I listened to in the dark ages, modern versions of bands like The Clash, Talking Heads, etc.?</p>

<p>Edit to add: Actually I still listen to these bands, and my kids do too!</p>
