So my account still says my audition time. I emailed admissions and they said they were still considering me. I have no idea what this means. Is anyone else’s account unchanged?

My son’s account has not been updated. We haven’t been in touch with admissions but I assume he’s in the same boat as you at this point.

Son wait listed as of today according to myPurchase.

My account says they have made a decision about me and that I will be notified within the next 5-7 days! Would they tell me on my account if I was rejected? Would they tell me if I was waitlisted?

Does anyone know if an alternate designation is the same as a waitlist designation?

yes, both are one and the same.

Thanks, ProudDad

I was accepted from the wait list today (at Purchase)…now I’m in a pickle because I already made a commitment to the Guthrie program :(

I’d stay with Guthrie! Congratulations MRK123!

My D got 2 calls his week from Suny. The first was on Tuesday, 5/5 saying they would be calling waitlisted students this week to complete the company, and a second call on 5/7 saying she was accepted. She is so excited she is bouncing off the ceiling. Our fall back school was Point Park University. Anyone else hear from Suny?

No…but I am already going to UNCSA…CONGRATULATIONS! It’s a GREAT school!

Even though this thread is all but dead I thought I would post this in the “never give up” category. Just a few days ago my son was accepted into the BFA Program. Yes, in August.

Wow!!! Congratulations. What is your son going to do…???

Wow! Congratulations to your son. What an amazing topic. I think never give up is right!

I hope he accepts the offer. What an amazing program to be accepted to. That’s a tough programs.

Once the offer was made there was no question. Thanks for the encouraging words.

Bravo! He’s the guy who did Adler Summer Teen a couple of years back? My son too - this summer and last.

Forrest, congratulations to you and your son! That’s great news!!!
