should I purchase season tickets for either basketball or football?

Does it cost more if I just pick and go to the games?

Also, I'm wondering would one make enough friends to go to the games with by Oct?? haha

According to my daughter the football season tix are no longer available except for individual games. (If that’s not right, please post a link.) What better way to strike up a conversation with potential friends than asking, “anybody going to the Homecoming game?”

you should easily have met friends to go to games with. If not, join the Rally Committee (Rallycom) who set up the card stunts, lead the band on the march to the stadium at big games, and who are the custodians of the Stanford Axe (except for those unfortunate years when the fellas with the pine tree mascot win). They all go to the games (lots of games, not just football).

@schmoomcgoo: that’s not right. I just bought mine this morning. they’re no longer available for purchasing online, but if you call 1-800-GO-BEARS and get through you should be able to purchase season tickets. :)

Are they sold out? I just went to check out for football season tickets and it worked.

Sorry, I was on a different page. Just checked and your daughter should be able to buy them here, schmoo: [California Golden Bears - Students](The Bench | Student Section Tickets - California Golden Bears Athletics)
Just click on Log In under Football.
Are there any benefits to renewing as opposed to just buying season tickets? I bought mine by phone so they didn’t renew…
