i mistakenly purchased a instructor's edition of a math text book from amazon marketplace. for every problem it has the answer right next to it, how could i sell it back for a regular student edition. btw.... how difficult is it to sell an instructor's edition of a math textbook?

post it up and see if anyone bites.

um keep it... it'll help you out alot, most likely.

.... and you want to sell it? Dude... it has the answers, keep it. You can still solve the math problems on your own then double check the solution. Just cover up the solution as you're reading the problem, or read the problem & close the book/move it away then solve the problem on your own.

Saves the need to buy the solutions manual or look up the answers to the odd problems in the back of the book.

If you really really want to sell it, either try to return it for a refund on amazon then purchase the correct version, or post flyers around your school saying you're trying to sell it (or if your campus has a book-exchange program, you can do that). I think the demand would be very high for the instructors edition with answers.

it also has the answers, in the back of the text book

thank for the helpful response pearl

I had a teacher's edition for my last 2 math classes (used the same book). I just kept a book cover on it, and never showed anyone my book. No one figured it out.

^^ who cares it is college. That is why they sell solution manuals for most math textbooks. come on dude it is not like you can use it for the exam.

Keep it, you don't want to lose money by selling it again and then getting another. sometimes it is better to be lucky then smart (and actually meaning to buy that verison)
