Son opted to purchase a used text and then order access code directly from webassign. Having difficulty accomplishing this at webassign. Obviously, we do not have a login and cannot find how to set up an account. Is anyone familiar enough with this to give some direction? The class is MA 126 if that is pertinent.

Wait until class starts and the prof gives you the info needed. There’s a two week grace period (students have access the first two weeks for free) and there’s always a chance you won’t need the code.

Thank you! We will wait…there’s plenty of other things to accomplish!

Just wanted to add that Dd contacted her Physics professor who gave her the class code. She was able to open an account on WebAssign (the first step) but can’t purchase access until school starts anyway.

I am comfortable now that she has the account (her Calculus class will be added automatically when the professor gets around to inputting his class/section rosters) - we will be able to buy all required access at one time.

For those taking Calc, if you start in anything other than Calc III, you may want to purchase the multi-term code. Multi-term is good for the whole book, so as long as the book doesn’t change editions, it’s more cost effective to buy the multi-term which covers (for example) Calc II and Calc III.
