You can buy book at the IUBookstore or TIS Bookstore.

I'm not sure about IUBookstore, but TIS lets you get 100% refund if you drop call in first week.

I'm mad because I can't find the ISB numbers anywhere. It's almost like they're forcing you to buy the text at the IU Bookstore, which is their job, but I'm going to be going to all my classes not knowing exactly what book to get.

A2Wolves6, you can get the ISBN numbers from TIS Bookstore, I posted the link above. Most of the books are custom IU copies, at least for my classes, but some you can get on eBay and amazon.

Thanks IUStudent!

if you buy from TIS will they tell you if you need one of those CPS scanner things for attendance? Would it be under required materials or something? I just want to make sure I don't need one.

What is a CPS scanner?

He means the "clicker" for the big lecture classes.

Normally they will be in the list of stuff you need to buy. If it's not on the list, I think you'll be alright.

Back in the dark ages when I was in college, the only clickers I knew of were the ones we used in the cafeteria to count how many students had come in to eat!

What is the purpose of today's "clicker"? Does it register attendance in some way? Or is it like on Jeopardy... you click it when you think you know the right answer? : )

When you walk in the classroom, you have a small remote thing. On it you "click in" to register that you were there. Some professors even have in-class quizzes that you can do with the clicker.

Thanks, A2.
