<p>I am majoring accounting in Purdue University. I was wondering if Purdue can prepare students to take the CPA exam. I am also wondering if I should stay an additional year to get the required 150 credit hour to sit for the exam. I have heard some people say that if i do not take the exam right after I get out of college or MBA, it would be incredibily hard for me to pass it. I was also wondering if accounting majors also take the CFA without taking any sort of finance class.</p>

<p>Many stay a fifth year to get the master's in acting and qualify to take the CPA right away.</p>
<p>Would it be smart if i transfer to Syracuse or University of Maryland for accounting? Would that be a lot better than Purdue?</p>
