Purdue, Carnegie Mellon, Cornell transfer EE

k if an individual is at UCR and obtains a 3.7-3.8 gpa in the college of engineering (electrical engr) how difficult is it to transfer to Purdue, CMU, or Cornell with the completion of ONE year at UCR? (so basically you are transferring out of UCR after you have completed one year there) how difficult is this to do? I was reading that CMU will not penalize you if you could have done better in highschool and in your sats, but is transferring after one year possible if you meet all the preqs for the school there (college of engr, i believe there are preqs for purdue)? if you do receive a 3.7-3.8 and have good teacher recommendations is it possible to transfer?

anyone......................?

it's not hard to get into purdue..

might be easy to get in, but hard to get out.

yea i know ive already received admission to purdue, but cant afford it. how about transferring to CMU or USC? difficult or not with those stats?

If you can't afford Purdue then you probably can't afford CMU.
