Class rank: 5 (Competitive high school)

I have withheld all of the extra curricular activities. I do quite a bit, but let me know if you need specifics.

Thanks all.

Bump up your SAT a little (even 100 points) and you’ll be very well qualified :)

Purdue: Low match

Does that mean low chance of getting in, Catria?

@Thebeatlestoday, Thanks for the responding. I suppose I could take that again, but the stats indicated that is was on the higher end. Do you think it is worth it?

High match for Purdue computer science oos.

Thanks Billcsho. Are you pulling that data from anywhere?

Purdue: Match

Purdue computer science is among the top 20 in the nation. Your SAT is right at the 75% of admission stat for Purdue overall. For competitive programs, you should be at around 75% to make it a match. You would be a match if from Indiana. Considering you are from out of state, your chance would be lower. Two-third of students in Purdue are in state. In addition, Purdue just joined the CommonApp this year. It is likely to draw more oos students to apply and that would lower the acceptance rate. That’s why I chance you as high match.

I was accepted today. Thank you for those that responded.
