I just submitted my application to Purdue into the School of Engineering. Though I know Purdue as a whole is a pretty prestigious school, I am more worried about getting into the engineering school. Can someone tell me my chances?

I have run track for four years, with a varsity for three, and cross country for two years. I have also been in a Minority Engineering program since sixth grade, five engineering program at IUPUI, as well as three summer engineering programs at Purdue. These three included a five-week program with emphasis on college preparation, where I had actual classes (Calc, Chemistry, English, with Aeronautical, and Civil Engineering projects.)

I'm still worried about my GPA and my SAT, because it seems like everyone I talk to has 2300 or something, so could you guys help me out?
Thank you

Bump, Bump, Bump.

You have great credentials! I think you’ll be fine; it’s a match school for you. I just got in on early decision (out of state) with somewhat similar stats as you (3.56UW, 30act).
Good luck!

Purdue is definitely a match.
Best of luck!!!

Your Math score is rather low for engineering. It would be a high match for you. For Purdue, it is not so difficult to get in. It is more difficult to stay in the engineering programs.

Hey man! I just got accepted here Early Action and I want to go into Aerospace too!
my SAT was a 1980 and my EC’s were pretty similar so I think you will be fine and maybe I’ll meet you next year!
