Purdue Essay

What does Purdue expect out of students in the essay portion of the application? Which topic is most important:
1. Describe college education, how it will allow you to achieve personal/professional goals.
2. What is the best advice you have ever received?
3. If you had a second chance...

Which one probably has the most significance and would improve the chance of me receiving scholarship? What do they look for? And does the essay actually have significant affect on the scholarship amount? I have fulfilled the pre-reqs for the trustee's scholarship: 32 ACT, 4.2 GPA...

They don’t care which one you choose, so choose the topic that you can write the most interesting essay on and write an interesting essay on it. The whole point of the essay is to show them you’re more than just the numbers on your transcript and your score reports. They aren’t looking for anything specific beyond that.

Yeah I agree with what bubblesocks said. Just choose what you can write about the most and make it interesting with personal experiences and all.
