Purdue learning communities

Hi, I am going to Purdue next fall 2015 and deciding whether to be in a learning community or not at Purdue. I am looking to be in the Computer and Information Technology community. Does anyone know how the learning communities work? Are they in the same building? Are they co-ed? Are there special things each community do?

Sometimes learning communities live together on the same floor. Most dorms separate the guys and girls (one wing is girls, one wing is guys, opposite gender need escorts in hallways, hall doors are locked using ID card swipes). That’s all I can really say.

Wait so the learning communities for both genders are in the same residence hall?

Sometimes. I was in both the network and women in engineering learning communities so I lived with the women in engineering in Earhart verge boys that were in network lived in Harrison and I think some of the other girls in network lived in Harrison as well. Just in another wing.
