I have been accepted into both Purdue and UCSB for physics. I know UCSB has a very strong program, but I'm having trouble finding information on Purdue's physics program. Is Purdue's physics program any good? Also, Purdue offered me an academic scholarship so the cost of both schools currently is equal(I would be in-state for UCSB). Purdue did recently announce a two year tuition freeze and the UC system will almost certainly raise tuition, so in the end Purdue will probably be cheaper. Purdue also offered me a research assistantship my freshman year(is this something worth considering?). If anybody could offer some advice/opinions that could help me decide that would be great! Thanks

Since it’s August now…which did you choose eventually?
