Hello, I am most likely going to be attending Purdue University under the CIT program studying cybersecurity. I just wanted to know what type of technology I would need for this program…

Right now I have a M1 macbook air 2020 with 8gb ram and I am most probably going to purchase an iPad of some sort.

Is this sufficient? If anyone could let me know that would be great. Thank you.

This is what Purdue recommends for engineering and polytech students.

My D was encouraged to get a PC over a Mac but I’m not sure if that has changed or not.
