When does Purdue notify about acceptance or not? Do they wait for the deadline or do they do it sooner? And if sooner, how soon is it typically?
Purdue did away with rolling admission a few cycles ago. They notify EA applicants in mid January.
“ Students who meet the Early Action deadline will have an admission decision on January 15. ”
“ Students who apply by the Regular Decision deadline will have a decision by March 31.”
I note there is a difference between “on” and “by”. I don’t recall any data points from the last couple of years to tell us whether they notify early. Please let us know if you hear back prior to the deadline.
Maybe a more recent applicant can chime in.
My D heard by the end of October back in the rolling days, 3 years ago, and it was very nice to know that early.
