<p>Well the majority of students are indeed from instate, but due to the strength of the engineering program, Purdue attracts a fair share of OOS students. International Students make up a decent size, about the same as other national universities. The midwest is a friendly place, so you'll be fine.</p>
<p>yeah, there are plenty of internationals here, and we in-staters don't bite....seriously, I have not seen or heard one instance of animosity toward and OOS student :)</p>
