Did anyone else get an email encouraging departmental scholarship application today? It was a general email that encouraged you to use Scholarship Universe.

I wonder if everyone gets that. Would they really send this out to applicants that are not likely to get in? In other words, is this an admissions tell?

Yes got same e-mail. general statement, do not think it is related to any acceptance decisions

Definitely general email. I don’t think any acceptances will go out until 1/15/20.

We received those emails twice since my son applied.

Does anyone know why Purdue announces so much later than other universities for EA?

Does Purdue announce on Social media that decisions will be released in next 24 hours, like other Universities?

Which departments? I applied to engineering program, and did not get that email!

No decision have gone out yet, they were talking about the email that went out to applicants with the below in subject line:

“Apply for eligible scholarships all in one place with ScholarshipUniverse!”

We think almost all people who applied got this email. Could be in spam bucket.

Gender: female
Decision Plan: Regular
UW GPA: 4.2
SAT/ACT: 35 ACT
AP: 13 APs total and 7 in Math and Physics

In-State or Out-of-State? OOS (TX)

She missed early action. Wondering if its worth applying now.

I would recommend she applies. It won’t hurt and her stats are very good.

One more month until results. This is going to be a long wait.
