Purdue University: Scholarship For Intels

And by the way answer my question: Purdue Scholarship for intels:
1) Factors on which it depends
2) How much is max amount
3)How many yrs
4) 13k or whatevr is max one is for 1 yrs renewable or total for 4 yrs.....

Plz........ reply

Why don't you just email them?

Well I don't know much but at most colleges, when they give you scholarship/aid, they give it to you every year for 4 years. So if you recieve 13k for one year, they should giv you 13k the next year, and so on.
And the amount they give you is usually calculated by the total of your parent's income..(if this is merit scholarship, i think it differs).. they calculate how much your family is expected to pay and they calculate how much they should give you by that.

Hint: If you think you are qualified for Princeton U, apply!! Need-blind, Need-based, No loans, Only grants! and of course, the prestige and aesthetics. What more do you want? :)

Those are there and i will apply to princeton...... but for purdue. i need gud safeties.. i mailed them but they are not answering this specific question......

BUMP BUmp:)

I thought ppl here knew purdue from Head to tail....

Guess i was wrong......
:( :|:)
:( :|:)
:( :|:)

Nah people here know HYPSM head to tail...
Purdue aint prestigious enough for the average cc ;)

NoFX,
Purdue is ranked # 10 for Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs.I think this is prestigious enough even for a cc member.

I'm just saying, the cc community is probably comprimised of the u.s's smartest, brightest, students.. If you check out 'my chances' threads and everywhere else, you'll see that they put purdue as their 'saftey' - which I also think is a bit strange considering it is a selective school.

But still u ppl cannot answer 1 simple question abt a school u consider safety. i thought safetoes should be things 1 is very sure abt..........

why don't you go here: <a href="http://www.iss.purdue.edu/Admission/UG/WhyPurdue/AmbassadorList.cfm%5B/url%5D">http://www.iss.purdue.edu/Admission/UG/WhyPurdue/AmbassadorList.cfm</a></p>

it gives you a list of student ambassadors you can put your queries to. they'll probably have the answers to your questions. :)

people would know more about their reach/match schools than their saftey. People look for heaps of extra info they can get for reach schools, hoping to find the secret ingredient which would help them get there and they just hunting for everything. For saftey schools, people assume that they are going to surely get in, nearly all the aid they want and everything else.. so they don't really research much about safteys.

Well that's my point of view.. Anyway I'm really bored and I'm doing this because of boredom, so smartmind, i'm not trying to pick an argument if this is what it sounds like lol.

I also just suggest emailing them.

THX so much..btw i have already mailed them and students....

They dont specifically answer this question aand hover around and students are confused abt its true nature....
Anyways thanx..i will mail few more students and see..

as far as i know, all the friends of mine who have gotten through Purdue have been given a scholarship of exactly 13K each reagrdless of their financial position...and this 13K is NOT rewnewable....its for the whole 4 years....which is pretty meagre actually....i dunno about u guys but all the people in my school consider Purdue as a "backup" including me....but iam sure i will have no regrets in going to Purdue if i dont get into any other college....after all it ranks 10th in engineering!!

The Beering Scholars Program
The Beering Scholars program offers Purdue's top applicants a full-ride scholarship that covers all expenses through both the undergraduate and graduate work at Purdue. The scholarship includes the following: one bachelor’s degree, one master’s degree (or an MBA), one doctoral or medical degree (through Indiana University), one study abroad, room and board, and a small stipend. Each year, the top 80-100 high school seniors who have been admitted to Purdue by the first week in December may be invited to apply for Beering Scholarships. From those who respond, two to ten are selected as Beering Scholar

hazmat are u sure its valid for intls??

<a href="http://www.purdue.edu/Admissions/Undergrad/costs/university_wide.shtml%5B/url%5D">http://www.purdue.edu/Admissions/Undergrad/costs/university_wide.shtml</a></p>

I would contact them...I know 2 people who have been awarded but they were both US, I just called......it is open to World applicants....anybody. One is invited to apply for it but I am sure you can arrange that if need be!!! Yes, you would need to apply before Dec. Goood Luck. You do qualify being from India

Sometime ago this was limited to USA but as of last year it was opened to all applicants from any nation. Good Luck. Apply before early DEC is the only recommendation they had.....to meet the INTL paperwork. It is an amazing opportunity......covers it all.

and what do they look for in an application for this...... i mean what ...as they demand almost no docs.
