Purdue University: Scholarship For Intels

The invitees are solicited for additional docs when they are notified. I would contact the school or more important find out who was invited last year.....I believe there may have been only one award last year.

remember that this article is prior to opening the competition to all Nations

do we have to seperately apply for this schol or are we automatically considered for it when we apply to purdue.

The award is a scholarhip......not a school. Purdue University is the school you apply to and consideration begins thru that mechanism. I don't know if that is your question or not. You seem a little confused.....how can we help clear this up for you??

Anybody here applied and gotten their acceptance letter yet? Lots of folks have their letters.....just checking in. Good Luck

i ve got many who have been accepted........ and they are still giving only the 13k all total scholarship......... i will get my decision by oct 25...... but with that aid..... no possibility

My understanding is that they selected invitees from the entire group of applicants........how would you know by Oct. 25?

i meant admissions and not the scholarship.........
i had sent an email but there came in no info abt the scholarship u state for intels......

Let me understand what you are saying. Many students you know have been awarded financial aid of $13,000. Looks like the total costs OOS $29,000. What schools do you anticipate will award you more money? Do you have alternative schools that you are waiting to hear from? What status is your student visa? Do you qualify to complete the FAFSA application?

The Beering Scholars Program
The Beering Scholars program offers Purdue's top applicants a full-ride scholarship that covers all expenses through both the undergraduate and graduate work at Purdue. The scholarship includes the following: one bachelor’s degree, one master’s degree (or an MBA), one doctoral or medical degree (through Indiana University), one study abroad, room and board, and a small stipend. Each year, the top 80-100 high school seniors who have been admitted to Purdue by the first week in December may be invited to apply for Beering Scholarships. From those who respond, two to ten are selected as Beering Scholars.

2 -10 selected frm an applicant pool which is among the largest in the united states........ so impossible to get one......

Also there is a science scholarship in purdue open to all........ Given by the school of sciences...
Applications open in December

Btw i am an indian with Indian Citizenship..a 13k sholarship for total 4 yrs wont do any gud as final cost still lomms at 27k /yr.which i wont pay

You must have other alternatives, what are they???
