Ok help me out here:
Im looking at Business. which is better not only in terms of business but just overall. Academics, campus beauty, College town, social life, housing, etc....

I think Indiana beats Purdue in all of those categories.

wat about in terms of prestige nationally. How well known is it?

SoCal18 is right..west lafayette is a boring little town.

indiana university kelley school of business hands down. its a much stronger program than purdue.

rankings wise:

10 on business week

11 on us news

If you want to go to a college that gets regularly beaten by Purdue in sports and academics and prestige, go to Indiana. Go ahead, listen to the above guys and make the embarassment of your life by joining IU!

I would pick IU, hands down. Gorgeous campus, much more social, and the business program is GREAT!

Purdue has 1 Men's sport National Championship. Men's Golf. It was over 50 years ago.

Indiana has, in comparison, 23 Men's sports National Championships.

Indiana's ranks as the 23rd best sport college in the country, Purdue's ranks 47th, according to CNNSI's "America's Best Sport Colleges".

Bloomington is the 6th best college sport town according to SI.com. Purdue didn't make the top list. Bloomington is featured Breaking Away, where Indiana's famous Little 500 is outlined, in what has been called as the "World's Best College Weekend". Numerous artists come and perform on campus every year just for that weekend. Last year included OAR, Three 6 Mafia, Yellowcard, Jibbs, Afroman, etc.

Don't even try arguing Purdue sports vs. Indiana sports, or Bloomington vs. West Lafayette. It's not even close. Be happy that you're at a loser engineering school in an ugly city with equally ugly students. Because that engineering program is all that Purdue has.
