Purdue vs. Penn State

I got into Purdue and Penn State for hospitality management.

I know Purdue is ranked in 3rd place for hotel management, and PSU is ranked 3rd place for hospitality management (I don’t know what’s different tho)

For either one, I have to pay out-of-state tuition cuz i am an international student.
I went to high school for 4 years here in america, and I got acceptance letters from several schools.
And in my opinion, Purdue and Penn State are the best for hospitality management.

I am very aware of that both PSU and Purdue is in the middle of nowhere.

Which school is better?

Hospitality management is broader than hotel management - it includes a broad spectrum of leisure and entertainment outlets, like theme parks, restaurants, resorts, casinos, etc.

Every ranking methodology is different - I did a quick search and found Penn State ranked #7 and Purdue ranked #11 in one; Penn State ranked #20 and Purdue not ranked in another (this one was international); Penn State ranked #7 and Purdue ranked #9 in another (the QS world university rankings)…my guess is that they are both very good and both great places for you to study this field, and that any differences between them in outcomes are relatively negligible. They’re also both overall good schools.

So the question is then - where do you want to go? Do you have a preference socially or experience-wise between the two?
