<p>I got into Purdue university and am still to recieve a decision from UT Austin. Incase i get in which do you think will be a better school for chemical engineering. For me social life and academics are the 2 biggest factors in deciding a school. What do you guys think ?</p>
<p>UT Austin has a better social life (Austin is leagues beyond West Lafayette) but Purdue has a lot more Indians. Neither school is lacking in its reputation for having good academics.</p>
