My sat score is 1850
My 10th c.g.p.a. is 9.4
my 9th c.g.p.a is 8.8

my 11th score comes up to 75-80% , but i am aiming for more in 12th grade.
I have won a certificate for photography in school.
I have got certificates for movie making in schools
I have also received a certificate for adventures such as trekking etc.
My sat subject test scores are around 2250

Won Certificates for Singing,dramatics and dance in school
I will be giving the ACT in which i am aiming for 32+ in all of them.
I will also be improving on my EC this coming year since I have one more year to go. I plan to go for an internship in a company and probably do community service.

Will i be able to get an admission in Purdue.
I’d love to be a part of the institution and i am ready to undergo whatever is to be in the one year time.
I will probably apply for a financial aid.

Please do tell me my chances.

And also please tell me how do i improve my ec???

It is possible man, just try to increase your SAT score and bring to 2250 or more. And make your SAT subject tests 2400. It is very much possible! And try to improve your ECs.

Lol, he doesn’t need 2250. 2000+ is good enough for Purdue , 2100 to be safe. The rest seems fine. And subject tests aren’t important for Purdue.

what are my chances for attending Purdue University for Computer Engineering or University Of Illinois @Urbana?

@indianstudent96 , I think you’ll get into Purdue easily. Illinois is 50-50.

One of the most important things regarding US uni application is the ability to pay especially for state schools such as Purdue. Applying for FA will hurt your chances at admission. From what I have heard, if applying for FA, admission rate would be lower, but if not submitting FAFSA, you’re on par with domestic applicants. I would suggest you guys look at need-blind alternatives whichever they may be.If so SAT scores are of extreme importance (2000 or 2100+). Not sure how that translates to ACT
