Hi, I'm an international applicant. I got admitted to both PurdueU and UWaterloo. Electrical Engineering, Honours, Co-operative program in UWaterloo or the First-Year Engineering (Non Honors) program in PurdueU? Which program is better in terms of job opportunities, education, reputation and graduate studies opportunity?

In terms of prestige: Purdue wins (#28 in the World v. Waterloo’s 39, [World’s Best Universities: Engineering and IT - US News and World Report](http://www.usnews.com/education/worlds-best-universities/articles/2010/09/21/worlds-best-universities-engineering-and-it-))

Also Purdue is highly thought of by US employers, and also has co-op opportunities.

Has a engineering program that is structured to start you off with projects.

I’m not an expert on Waterloo, but also not yet deciding with Purdue as an (actually, at the the moment best) option.

Also decide on: cost, how far do you want to be from home, and the environment of each.

Both are outstanding. Waterloo = coop. In general, I’d say that Purdue will be better-known in the US and Waterloo will be better-known in Canada. However, both are highly reputable across the board for engineering.
