purity ice cream

has anyone been to purity ice cream in ithaca??

Yeah, I have. It's very good. I don't know what else to say about it...

Oh, but they do have great cakes as well.

haha sorry its a really random thread but i had a craving for ice cream and the first place that came to mind was purity so i decided to start a thread about it :)

they make some original flavors don't they, how are they?

well the flavors ive tried while visiting my brother were all amazingggggg :)

don't forget to hit up the Cornell Dairy Bar....definitely worth the trek

This thread just makes me want to get accepted even more... and I didn't think that was possible!

Cornell Dairy Bar is so good, ohhhhh man. And it's in a very flora and fauna heavy location. Mmmm, I love plants...

what's your major bestwit?

You are the second person to think I go to Cornell! Again, wow I am flattered :D.
I'm an EDer applying for CALS Biological Sciences.

bestwhit, is this an omen?
:)
(a good omen)

yeah, hope to see you on the other side (I'm in plant science)

(oh god I hope :D)
Yeah, see you there haha!

Hopefully I'll be seeing you guys too, next year!
Hopefully...
:/

dairy bar gets my vote. purity is overhyped , imho. and the location is great- if its the summer. unless you have a class all the way out there, you will find the 15 minute walk from west-ish to be very very cold at this time of year (during which i'm sure you won't be deathly in the mood for freezing cold ice cream)

What's the Dairy Bar?

It's off of Stocking Hall....you can buy food or buy Cornell Dairy ice cream :-)

I think they also have pudding and ice cream cakes...soooooooo yummy

Sounds pretty sweet haha
Cornell exams sound like hell, though.

it's it made by like food science students or something?

original flavors and local ingredients right?

Oh, i'll hit them both up.

I heard food science majors have to create a new flavor as their final exam for some upper-level class. Is that true?
