Purposefully bombing looked down upon?

Okay, let's say that I know I got 800 CR and 800 writing on this SAT, but I got like a 680 on the Math. Math is in fact my best subject, and I could get an 800 any day (not yesterday though...). So if I were to retake solely for math and just not even answer on the CR and Writing, would colleges look down upon a set of scores like this:

CR/M/W
800/680/800
200/800/200

??

Definitely.

y dont u just focus on math but still try (just a little less) on reading and writing. if u weere able to get an 800 in both u could proabbbly break 700 in both with little effort

Of course they would look down on it.
I agree with the above, just focus on math, but answer all the CR and Wr you are positive about, but with SOME effort.

i have some questions...

which schools do the "best scores from each section thing"?

and, for schools who do it, do they see your other sections, or will they usually only see the best 3

Cory, you'd have to name schools you are interested in. There are a few thousands colleges in the US, so there's no way to just list who superscores (takes the best of each). There's no certain catagory that does.

All schools see every score.

Iin, colleges will definitely look down on that. What does that tell them about you, from their perspective? If it doesn't "count", it's not worth your effort?
